Geek Trilogies
I found this picture on danmeth.com via Veronica Belmont’s blog.The picture speaks for itself but I have never seen films reviewed like this. For the most part I agree with all of the reviews.
I don’t agree with Jurassic park, which I thought were all pretty strong. I also disagree with Lord of the Rings, which were I don’t concider as one long film as each part doesn’t stand on it’s own right. Do you agree with the trilogy meter?
Star wars or Harry Potter
Where the ideas for the first harry potter came from, become near in this shocking note. This is so funny and true. It maybe because the stories are the same, but this note it right on the nose.
Stargate fanart
I am personally not a massive fan of fanart. Much of it, seems to be painting of the two main characters of a television shows, in sexual positions. But when I was looking on gateworld, I found an interesting project called looking at Stargateworld. Their web site’s had an contept art page.The images are simply stunning. This is kind of art I can get my teeth into. Good use of colour and amazing scale. Have a look at just a few that I uploaded. There are also more on the offical website.
