It is that time of the year again, to set some goals for myself, keeping them quite small, but hopefully make my life better. These are not really for you readers, but for me to write down publicly. By writing these resolutions down like this, I have to be held accountable and seeing them written down like this, it motivate me to do them.
- Complain less and remain positive
I think it is a very British thing to do to complain and be negative, but I think if you live your life complaining all the time, your just looking for bad things in life. Speak positive and you will be happy, at least that is the idea.
- Don’t hold Grudge
Much like the first resolutions, it is a matter of remain positive and happy. Holding onto angry is not good for your soul.
- Get up earlier in the morning and have breakfast
- Go to Orange Wednesday every week
- Visit all of my friends at university
- Go on Holiday
- Start the process of learning to drive
- Don’t buy anymore games until I complete all the games I have
- Go swimming once a week
- Drink less caffeine
- Redesign all of the sites that I run.
What are your new years resolutions? What would add to this list?
It is that time of the year again, to set some goals for myself, keeping them quite small, but hopefully make my life better.

For those reading this, what are your resolutions? What is missing from my list?
It is that time of the year again to look back on the year gone by and looking at the resolutions I set at the start of the year. It has been a long and hard year for me, so forgive me if I didn’t do as well as I hoped. (more…)
After the success of writing for New years resolutions for 2007, I am writing them down again so I can look back on them and make sure I stay on target. So I am going to write a long list again, things I know I can do, things I know I should do and thinks I wish I could do. Right so here we go
- Get an up to date Calendar, putting all coursework dates, birthdays and everything else.
I am thinking about using Google Calendar and Ical.
- Do more cooking
This means that I should stay away from things that involve using Microwaves. When I do cook things, I must not over cook things. By cooking more myself I should be of better health.
- See friends from home more
Get people at uni and get them to come to Portsmouth.
- Stay in contact with my family
- Eat less sweets, crisps and chocolates
- Pass my second year of University
- Find time to find new music
- Be earlier with getting form, coursework and other important things in.
- Get a summer job.
- Have weekend away with Bex Terry
I think unlike last year, I set some real goals. Now I think I can set to doing them!
It has been a year since I wrote my New years resolutions for 2007 and I thought it was time to see what progress I made on completing my goals for this year. It was a really good idea to write these things down and look at them again a while later. It is really interesting to see what was important to me a year ago. Before reading this list, it is important to have a look at the original list of resolutions.
Right so, lets go through the list and see how well I did!
It may a little late to be thinking about sure things but it is important to have goals for the year. Instead of just one, I am trying to write a list of 15 things I must try and do throughout the year. So here we go;
- Complete the making of new site, called Computingcorner and keep it updated.
- Keep in touch with my friends more, by signing on MSN, making phone calls and joining social networks.
- Pass my first year at university
- Read more books, something that I have already been doing.
- Go to the gym at least once a week
- Start to learn to drive, something I have been putting off since I turned 17.
- Be more daring, if I want to something just go for it.
- Meet more people and make more friends
- Go on holiday with friends and have a great time
- Learn to cook
- Complete Grand theft auto 3 PC
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep a day and get to sleep by 12.30pm
- Eat less chocolate
- Keep my room as tidy as possible
- Get a decent haircut.
I really hope that I manage to do all of these, I will write a follow up in a years time. Happy new year everyone.
